On September 11, the Dover Motor Speedway hosted the 21st annual 9/11 Memorial Blood Drive as their way of honoring the past while giving back to the community.
Together, donors rolled up their sleeves and helped collect an incredible 59 lifesaving units of blood for patients throughout the region. Since 2006, this annual drive, in partnership with Blood Bank of Delmarva, has given our community a meaningful way to honor those we lost on 9/11 through an act that directly helps others. And after donating, participants got to take a few laps around the famous Monster Mile!
A huge thank-you to Dover Motor Speedway, our team members, and every donor who helped make this special event such a success.
