Our annual Summer Blood for a Brew tour is back! Celebrating our 6th Anniversary this year, BBD is excited to blend our summer brewery drives with our fall coffee drives, giving donors even more opportunities to brew something good this summer!
The summer Blood for a Brew campaign is critical to raise awareness on the need for blood during the challenging summer months and to encourage new blood donors to come forward and save a life.
Participating coffee shops and breweries that are hosting again are Dogfish Head, Dewey Beer Company, Sleeping Bird Coffee, Revelation Brewing, Amity Coffee Roasters, Wilmington Brew Works, Crooked Hammock, Ocean City Coffee Beanery, Two Stones Pubs and many more! This summer, we are excited to introduce some NEW Blood for a Brew partners, such as Braeloch Brewing, Victory Brewing, Brew Works North, Elk River Brewing, Bull and Goat Brewery, Autumn Arch Beer Project, First State Brewing Company, and more!

When is it happening?
The kick-off Blood for a Brew blood drive will be at Dogfish Head Brewery on May 19, 2026. Other coffeehouse and brewery stops are still being added and will run from May 19 – September 10, 2026.
