Kelli has been instrumental in advancing pre-hospital trauma care, helping bring whole blood transfusions into the field—a groundbreaking initiative, in partnership with Blood Bank of Delmarva, that is saving lives before patients even reach the hospital. Since launching in 2023, this program has expanded statewide and has already helped paramedics administer nearly 350 units of blood to critically injured patients. Trauma teams have shared that many of these patients may not have survived without that early intervention, an incredible testament to the impact of her work.

We’re proud to support efforts like these and grateful for leaders like Kelli who are pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in emergency care. You can read the full article here ➡️ https://bit.ly/4tuqrQ5.
